Fine Food

The place had

Award winning appeal

Opening to the bustle

Of pedestrians passing

On the pavement

A quaint, but fresh view

Into a very cosmopolitan street

The service was friendly

Subtle, professional

Quiet efficiency

Took the diner

By a reassuring hand

Through the superb delights

Prepared by an accomplished chef

Fine wine, fine food

The conversation flowed

And as we sipped

The mellow coffee

At the end of

An engaging gastronomic experience

We were replete, content

And the mental exhaustion

Of a working week

Had been magically dissipated
