The Biggest Loser 2007

They all came back as the white team and didn’t they look good? Look at them. What an achievement. Then they were put into pastels and told 5 could win the white T Shirt back. Mel’s gone because of her heel fracture. Greg ‘s gone because the silver platter rules ( slightly better than the sausage , I suppose. At least he got to hear his value). Gerard toughed it out and won a white T Shirt with the balancing act. What a killer that was. It hurt to watch it. Laura won hers courtesy of another silver platter decision. But look at them. They are all wearing white T Shirts. They were given them by the show. What did they do to lose them except turn up at the show’s invitation??!! So, go the Commando. I like this guy. He believes in everyone winning. He believes in getting everyone to the finish line and he believes in making people stand on their own two feet and help each other. He supports the individuals, he forces them to co operate as a team and he brooks no excuses. No one has the right to be a quitter. No one has the right to let others down. I love his attitude, his values and he is not half bad to look at either. They all won. They all moved forward as individuals and they all helped each other. There were no sausages, no silver platters, no temptations. Just a lot of tyres and dirt…and then so much satisfaction at the end. Everyone felt good about being there, everyone felt good about everyone else being there and no one felt better than anyone else. They felt proud of themselves and proud of each other. They had it in balance and they had harmony as a group…and they had worked hard towards their weightloss goals. I love it. I loved Alex, I was proud of Alex and Damien. Michael worked his butt off, Marty toughed it out, Gerard slogged, Kelly had to push herself to the edge and good ole Courtney turned out to be the best friend anyone could have when they felt completely defeated. Kim and Patti just went on and on and on. Alex is wonderful. He deserved that speech from the trainers. He has turned a small amount of help into a massive amount of self help. He takes nothing for granted, treasures everything and shows such respect…but he is funny too, so funny and Courtney got his act together tonight and talked a lot of sense and had fun too. I guess he is apt to change because life hasn’t moulded him yet. It was a great show and I guess that’s what I have been talking about…the team effort and the individual achievements because of the team hauling together. Even Laura was a strong, enduring part of the team.
