Mum’s wine as good as Penfolds Grange

Mum’s wine as good as Penfolds Grange: “Langhorne Creek’s Bremerton Wines 2004 Old Adam Shiraz, made by 34-year-old Rebecca Willson, has been awarded a lofty 97 points out of 100 by Australian wine guru James Halliday, who gave the same score to the 2002 vintages of Penfolds Grange and Henschke’s Hill of Grace.”

You don’t often read stories like this but it is nice to see them because they are inspirational. Where there is a will there is a way no matter what the circumstances or the opposition! It is great to hear that Ms. Willson can produce wine right up there with the best of them. It is also good to know she is so self effacing and modest in the light of her achievements. There must be something about Langhorne Creek though because the chickens up there produce the best eggs!
