Solar users reap dividend : “Consumers to be paid double for solar electricity Solar ADELAIDE, Aug 13 AAP – The state government said its solar feed-in legislation would allow consumers to be paid 44 cents a kilowatt hour, double the standard retail price.”
That’s a great incentive to go solar and it’s good if people can find ways of putting electricity into the grid. We can get better at ti. I look forward to the day where our roof tiles are little solar panels which supply energy to our homes and the grid. Surely there is a clever way of using our roofs to become boosters of renewable energy? We have to find ways of making things easy for ourselves. We need to think of ourselves as contributors and then work out how we can do that. In the end it could mean that some countries could supply energy for others in exchange for something else and we need to make these things part of our daily living. We have gadgets which ramp up the energy supply for camping and mobile living…let’s get a good look at how we can use our buildings and homes…both for energy and water. It needs to become the architecture of the future.
