Cut the calories and live longer

Cut the calories and live longer: “Based on these and other studies, Dr Everitt estimates lifelong calorie reduction would extend life by between five and 10 years. Australian women currently have an average life expectancy of 83 years. For men, that is 78.1.”

We know this but it doesn’t hurt to be told again because some people don’t seem to think it’s important or they lose the plot. It’s obvious if you keep your weight down and you keep moving , with the advances we have had in medicine then it is highly likely you will live a good, long life. The better you eat and the more you move around , the better you feel. Some people cannot seem to motivate themselves into that simple formula and I can only think it is loss of hope. We have to remind people they can improve theri life, even at 50 or more.
