It’s only been on a week and already two have been eliminated – Monica and now JJ. Given there are 30 contestants around the place, then the game hasn’t even begun! None of the contestants knows what is really going on. I have made the assumption the Commando is out there with the ones who appear to have disappeared….until later. It was fantastic to see the weight loss from the Blue team, especially John and Sean who have some very real limitations but haven’t let them interfere. The Red team is imploding and too clever for its own good. Most of the contestants seem to be very emotional and the tears run freely and it seems something we have in Australia at the moment. A nation of criers.I don’t know what to do…ah, crying seems like a good idea. Some people are just pushing themselves too hard and some people just don’t know what hard is and just blub. Sam, John and Kirsten seem to be pretty grounded and they are all on the same team and will probably deal with whatever the show throws at them. Judging by the shorts, this week looks like a lot of tempers are flaring. Very short fuses. Deprivation? Giving up dependency? It’ll be interesting. I kind of got the impression Rachel was orchestrating her own exit by the rules and strategy. She seemed awfully pleased to be getting the votes…but then JJ was voted out because the women stuck together, as did the men. Bit sad to have that kind of division.
