You know if you have brought up children that they just go for the sweet things all the time. Doesn’t matter how much good stuff you put in their mouths and heads…the sugery, sweet things are just like magnets. So we do have a bent towards sweet things. I think you lose it as you get older and I think you can reprogramme yourself. I also believe everyone has their own tolerance. It’s the balance which is important and the willingness to let go of bad habits. I gave up sugar gradually by changing one thing at a time. The first thing you notice is you have more energy. The second thing is that you lose weight and the third is that you can then be content with one nice sweet thing every so often.
