The Biggest Loser 2008

The one thing you can say about the Black team is that they have consistently lost the smaller numbers through the whole series. They don’t do the massive drops like the other teams and it’s always the 1,2 or 3 kilos for the 3 of them. Bryce is looking very fit and normal in his weight. He looks well and they were saying he has been working hard. Why some of the house members suddenly get big numbers or small ones one week and then much bigger ones the next week is a moot point. Consistent weight loss is better , I think. The thing which really struck me tonight though is how serene Carrieanne’s face is. Quite different from Nicole’s. Carrieanne has a serenity in her face that you see in very few women and it is a wonderful look. Her shin problem may well be a kneecap problem that young women get and it is very debilitating until their body stabilises around the age of 25. It can cause a lot of pain. I hope this doesn’t mean she is leaving. I was thinking Bryce could probably go now because he is strong and has his weight under control but then his attitude worried me tonight because, as AJ quite rightly pointed out, he has come a very long way and has a lot to be proud of. I hate seeing people put themselves down when they have every reason to celebrate. I look forward to the former contestants coming back. For a start Adro looks like a million dollars and just looks so fit and young and that is well merited. He broke through so many barriers to be who he is now and he is so deserving. The week is obviously going to be exciting! It’s nice to see Sam smiling again. His face is so engaging.I was astounded to see Cosi doing those floor jumps. Fitnesswise he has come a long way and must be feeling a lot better. It’s a pity he doesn’t seem to have the serenity of mind to go with that new leap in health and strength. There were a lot of positives in this show and to see the lights in Michaels eyes was so fantastic. He looks so well now. The show is making people well this year. So many of them, and the impact on the wider community is there too!
