The Biggest Loser 2008

That was so darn good I hardly know where to start. Put the legends in the mix and you raise the show to a level of greatness and positivity which has never existed before in that show…or anywhere else. They are such a good influence and because the show has given them so much and they have learned form it, then they are able to give and give and be powerful forces of incredibly positive change. They all do it slightly differently, but they take their mentoring seriously and they offer so much..then there is such a tight bond between them they draw the current losers into that forcefield of positive strength and determination. It is fantastic to watch. Courtney feels so well in his skin now his dead pan laconic comments are really very amusing and he now has style. He wanted style. He has it now and is confident about it. Poor Alison is starting to look drawn and stressed. Kristie will hopefully get through to her. Sam is starting to come out of himself and Tracey is getting him to realise he has grown up and Cosi’s comments were uncalled for. Tracey was being like a good aunt that all young men need. Without Cosi being top dog then the pack runs more freely, quite literally, because they have the protection of the others and then the freedom to be themselves and you can see how much stronger and flexible they all are when they can direct themselves outside their hitherto designated role. They are breaking free and that is so important. Adro is really very impressive. He and Michelle and Wal and Nicola were a good match…the best match tonight and it was a heart stopping race. Damien and Alison were awesome and Garry was a real turn up for the books and he so needed that. They were all great and Damien was so Damien for going over and getting Courtney to get in there and finish the race. Damien never forgets and is wearing the memento Shannan got him in NZ that we didn’t ever know what it was or what it signified…but Damien has cherished that. I don’t know who will win the 9 tonne coach race, but it will be close and it will be exhilarating and we haven’t had exhilarating.Hopefully we shall hear from all the contestants and get to see them all grow. Can’t wait for Bob and Jillian to be there because Bryce and Michelle need them and have that right, but when Jillian says they are there to beat the fat off them now… I love it!! It’s good to see those two in action and it has been great this series to see so many different training approaches.

My final four are Sam, Kirsten, Alison and Bryce…doesn’t he look good!…and Michelle is starting to win my approval too. She needs Jillian and Bob to get the best out of her now.
