The Biggest Loser 2008

So what was that all about? We watched Cosi and Garry make the most fundamental mistakes with regard to weight. We watched them overeat all the wrong things. This after last night’s celebration of how good they all looked. Made the whole thing hollow and worthless. Then there is the small matter of how much air time Cosi gets compared with the other contestants. The show seems to put him on a lot. So while we, like the other contestants stood by and watched Cosi and Garry gorge themselves, what was there to be learned? Cosi judges others and yet he is prepared to eat all the wrong things for immunity and then come in later in the week and go on a food binge. This is not the Biggest Loser. Loser behaviour, yes. The others stood around for most of the show like we did. So it was hardly a competition. Then we get Garry going on the stupid walk so that some contestant can end their journey in the show. The complete opposite of last night. And the last few episodes. We have had such positives and now we are in the mire at a time we should be watching them move forward. Is this so the Black team can take another hit because we cannot possibly have someone trained by an American win the show? Even though Adro has given the show and life so much of himself and what he learned from the first series? At this point in time I think it’s all horrible. I’ll maybe get over it, but when Cosi sits there overeating later in the week it is going to be a really low point for the show and those sorts of things are not easily forgiven , forgotten or overcome. It appears to be totally up the creek at the moment and I am very sorry the other contestants are being expected to participate in this kind of carry on at this point in the show. Very deflating.
