The Biggest Loser 2008

What a show! What a night. It was good to see Michael but he didn’t look as well as in the post show video clips we have seen. Bryce was very together and Sheridan seemed a lot calmer. I was thrilled to see Debs because I know she has been an inspiration to so many more mature Mums who had given up on themselves. Alison, although nice and very determined, doesn’t get through to them. Debs does. Sean , though, Sean is the most inspirational inspiration ever! He was looking straight down the gun barrel at leaving the planet and his stomach was just so huge. He was ill, he was depressed , he was grieving for his brother and he was killing himself. Encouragement goes a long way. He is nearly 60 kilos lighter and has done that with his total lack of fitness, his emotional pain, his foot spur which would be such a stabbing pain. Oh yes, he is a softie, but he is kind, generous and very much alive now. Fabulous effort and so needs rewarding. Rachel is just trickling along as Rachel does but even she has made some good inroads into her health, fitness and happiness. I felt sorry for the four. Cosi looked hard and sounded harsh. One night away made him harden up and he looked like he was going to give them heaps. Yes, he has come a long way but he hasn’t gained the peace of mind and equanimity of the others. Don’t know why. Seems a shame when he is young. He cannot seem to laugh freely. The final four found out they were to be the final six. Michelle has changed a lot in a week. She was calm, laughing and so confident. She looked and sounded so positive and it was fantastic to see her like that because she is becoming very pretty on the inside and out. She has suffered a lot to get where she is. I’d like to see Bryce and Michelle back. I guess Cosi will get in and probably Nicola to even up that Red and Blue battle the show won’t let go. They wrote the Blacks off from the start. They were never going to get a fair run. I was actually thinking the final four look good. They have survived and they have done well. I even softened towards Garry because he has come a long way personally and physically and I think that is important in a show like this. I think it’s good to see people overcoming all their fears and weaknesses. I think that is why Adro has been so successful. He is nothing like the guy who went into the show. Anyway, we should be in for an interesting week!!
