You have to hand it to the 5. They stood strong and didn’t participate in such a daft temptation at this stage of the show. But they’ve done daft before. I guess it was a good test because at this stage they all have a lot to lose and nothing to gain by following the path that brought them to the show in the first place. I confess there would have been no show last night had Kirsten, Sam and Garry not spent the whole bloomin’ time prevaricating and having their heads done in by Sam planting the thought that the best way to win this temptation was to wait till the last minute , run off and then get a jelly bean or whatever and declare yourself in the final. Bryce tried to get consensus. The more I know him , the more I like him. He tried to rally the group and get them thinking out loud as a unit. It didn’t benefit him at all but it meant everyone was out in the open about what their plans were. Good move…until you listened to the self talk of Sam, Garry and Kirsten. Boy, did they ever wobble and so much for your word , loyalty and all of the lessons you have learned. Right now they have come a long way: they have had expert help and tuition, they have a major TV profile and they have a lot of ways of rejuvenating their lives and earning some good benefits from their association with the show. They even have previous Losers to connect with. Now that is a powerful network to carry through your life. Alison and Bryce were rock solid with their decision and didn’t falter. Alison was quite at peace with herself too. She does have peace of mind now. Bryce is calm and secure in his thinking ever since he broke in the yoga session which shot an arrow through me. He has peace of mind too. Sam is still a puppy but his thinking is very good and he is good on strategy. So Alison is in to the final by chance and that may be a good thing for her because she has battled along the way to renew herself . That spot in the final gives the mother of 3 ( or is it 2 children?)a good chance of pulling it off because she still has weight to lose and she is very determined now. The stupid walk is bound to stuff it all up again as it always does. That walk just disturbs the natural rhythm and they have broken up all the other alliances and teams. Nothing has yet destroyed the alliance between Sam, Kirsten and Alison which really puts Garry and Bryce at a real disadvantage but Bryce must be used to it by now!
