Paper Free

House & Home – Life & Style Home – smh.com.au

In the richest countries, paper consumption fell 6 per cent from 2000 to 2005, from 531 pounds (240.86 kg) to 502 pounds (3,187.85 kg) a person, according to The New York Times.

You have to read the whole article because this lady really is dedicated to a paper free society. I  am not that dedicated and I have to wonder why because I hate seeing all our trees destroyed. Computers seem to have increased the amount of paper we use because you always need a hard copy because there is no safe and secure file system. the sooner they fix that, the better. I am sick of making backup of back ups and then a hard copy to be absolutely certain. Around the home I am better but I think offices really need to go hard at stopping the massive consumption of paper. There are a lot of us and this article is an inspiration and makes you want to do better.
