Grannie Power

AdelaideNow… Grandparents making kids smarter

In particular, children aged under two cared for informally – largely by grandparents – show higher learning scores than infants cared for solely by their parents or in childcare.

You see some good relationships with grandparents and their grandchildren here. They seem to have easy conversations and spend their time doing some nice things. it obviously pays off to have that kind of a bond with grand parents. They aren’t trying to work and pay bills and be in a rush so the time is well spent and has benefits. it also means the child has other adults they can turn to when the going gets tough.
