Make a difference

We were all at Bunnings this morning inspite of what look to be interesting renovations. We had all decided we had the courage to repair the damage of the heat over summer. For the second year in a row our gardens have suffered. I spent much of the weekend pulling out the dead stff. Today we went to Bunnings and Adelaide was buying brooms, spades, rakes, wheel barrows, bark chips, soil and plenty of plants. We are now determined to get in there and make a difference. Why? It has rained! Properly rained. Until now we have been put off doing anything in case our efforts are wasted…so today we clean up and planted and it will go on for weeks now . We’ll be happy. We’ll have fresh air, exercise and nice gardens to look at again. The dust bowls have been depressing.
