VibroAcoustic Disease

The effects are grim: cardiovascular, respiratory, neurologic, and renal pathology and symptoms, which they call vibroacoustic disease (VAD).
*VAD is well established in the clinical literature. It has been amply documented and is readily detected by a variety of diagnostic tests.
I had no idea VAD existed and I am surprised we haven’t had more information about this since we are living in noisy environments and turbine and electrical noise is as much noise pollution as mechanical noise. I have always thought wind farms were a good thing because they are a renewable energy source but I need to extend my thinking here and understand that they need to be right always from homes and dwellings or they can be a source of VAD. Fortunately there have been doctors and researchers who have been alert to this and now proper studies are being conducted so that we can make better decisions about the placement of wind farms. No sense in saving the climate if we are not saving ourselves.
