Heart Attacks in Women

Research finds higher resting heart rate can point to increased likelihood of heart disease in women too.
If you go to the Health Minutes site you can watch a little video which will explain why a low resting pulse rate is important, especially for women. They now have evidence to suggest that a higher pulse rate in women could lead to a heart attack and that the resting pulse rate is a good indicator of such an event. More and more we are isolating exactly what it is that contributes to heart health or lack thereof. Well worth taking a look.
