Pet parade

I have just arranged these images of a family pet using Shape Collage which is a great programme if you just want to quickly set up a photo montage. The cat is owned by a family member who has an ongoing condition and we rescued it from the RSPCA as a birthday present this year. All of this was discussed. We didn’t just go and get a cat. it was a big day when we all went out to find the new companion. He’s a male cat about 18mths and has been in his new home about 3 months. Now that he is well and strong he’s been a bit of a handful at times because he has energy and curiosity. For the most part it’s good but the cat needs to be able to have a sense of the bigger spaces in life now. He is an indoor cat. That is for his safety. At the weekend we took him up a cat harness. We had no idea how it would go but thought it might be the answer to allowing the cat a bit more of an adventurous lifestyle. As you can see, he has taken to it well. He loves being outside and seeing the big world. it has cheered the owner up because now he feels like he is not keeping an active cat too confined. We got a strong harness. Some are very flimsy and do not look like they would last very long. We paid a bit extra to get this good quality one. We weren’t sure if the cat would have to get used to it, but no, he has taken to it well as you can see. Now he is able to explore his environment safely and the owner is able to offer a bit extra by the way of care without putting himself at risk. The world is full of great gadgets and you are not always sure if they will add to your life. The cat harness has been of great benefit all round!
